Nate did an amazing job capturing the images we wanted. He was extremely professional and immediately put everybody at ease. He has an amazing eye and used the backgrounds to enhance the images, not distract from them. He also has a good understanding of lightning and took some incredible “golden hour” shots of our family. I would completely recommend him to anybody who wants professional yet natural looking family photos.

Amazing wedding photos!!!!! From the very beginning of coordinating our shoot I knew he was gonna be great. He had a great knowledge of different locations in the area that afforded us what we were going for. He was super considerate of our timeline and was instructional and guiding during the shoot. Nate kept us updated afterwards with an accurate estimation of when he would be finished with editing them. He got the photos back to us within the a month after the wedding and they were absolutely amazing. Nate is a fantastic photographer and my wife and I couldn’t recommend him more strongly.

Nate snapped a few photos while I was recording a band and they turned out great! He has a very creative eye and was very professional during the whole process. About a month later I asked if he had any scenic photos that I could use for my business. He was timely in getting back to me and had plenty of photos to choose from. We went back and forth looking for the right photos and when we found the photos I liked they were reasonably priced.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Nate of Firestorm Photography since about 2015. The creativity and span of his work is limitless; he captures dancers in motion, concerts, horses & riders, moody portraits, and weddings (and so much more) with precision and artistic depth. He has a keen eye for lighting, angles, and the interplay of body language with the natural environment. Whenever Nate is behind the lens, magic happens. Creativity flows. The subjects take on a new dimension.
Deep sensitivity towards his subjects is what I believe makes Nate’s work ultimately appear so effortless and natural. He is just as quick to listen and play with new ideas as he is to make a suggestion to improve the image (angle this way, move a hair to the left, chin down slightly). The images never end up looking over-edited or artificial. I would trust Nate with any photography job, period.
I’ve worked with Firestorm Photography three times in the last year. We had such a positive experience with him we hired him again and again! Our sessions have included our young children and horses – not always easy to work with, but Nate has been nothing but patient.
